Motorola introduces new “Test Drive” feature on all future software updates

Today’s a good day for all Droid RAZR M owners in the U.S., thanks to the OTA update for Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. But apparently there’s more. Motorola is also introducing a new program called “Test Drive” which will allow its users to experience major software upgrades for a trial run prior to launching it to the public. This will allow Motorola to gauge its future updates through valuable customer feedback.

The company says that it will release a preview of their software to a few hundred customers who will sign up for Test Drive. The details are bleak for now, but Motorola says that it will release more information on how to sign-up and participate soon. Motorola clearly has no plans of slowing down. It is also offering a trade-up program which will offer $100 back for a new Motorola smartphone once they trade-in their old one. “We’re a new company with a new approach, and a big part of how we’ll do business going forward is to keep our customers in the loop,” the company added.
