Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Sells More Than 5 Million Units

SammyHub claims that they have received word that Samsung’s latest entry into the phablet world, which would be a “sequel”, if you can call it that, to the original Samsung Galaxy Note, has just passed the magical 5 million mark. In fact, it was earlier in the month when Samsung announced that they have already sold three million Galaxy Note 2 devices, and the latest round of number crunching claimed that the figure had risen to 5 million units.

I guess it did not take too long for this new phablet to achieve such a sales milestone assuming the above mentioned is true, and just for comparison’s sake, its predecessor, the original Galaxy Note, took 5 months to achieve this 5 million mark. Well, I guess the firepower underneath the hood of the Galaxy Note 2 certainly does have pretty persuasive powers, considering how it packs a 1.6GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED Display, and an 8-megapixel shooter among others.
