Mysterious Samsung GT-I9600 Spotted In Benchmarks

With CES around the corner and MWC taking place the month after, we wouldn’t be surprised if smartphone manufacturers had a bevy of devices ready to be shown off to the world. So far we’ve seen a couple of Samsung smartphones get benchmarked, such as the GT-I9505, and it looks like another Samsung device was spotted on the NenaMark benchmark website, revealing its model number to be the GT-I9600. Assuming Samsung keeps to its naming scheme, there is a good chance that the GT-I9600 will be of the Galaxy S-range.

However its specs do seem a bit fishy considering that they are pretty similar to Samsung’s current flagship device, the Galaxy S3. The GT-I9600 is running on a 1.4GHz quad-core processor with a 1280×720 HD display and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean calling the shots, and given all of that, it would seem more like a Galaxy S3 variant rather than a brand new Galaxy S device. However since benchmarks can be faked, we suggest you treat this with a degree of skepticism for now. In the meantime fret not as our eyes will be peeled for more info regarding this mysterious GT-I9600, so check back with us later for the details.
