Samsung Galaxy Win Global Availability Announced

galaxy-win-confirmSamsung has just announced the global availability of their upcoming smartphone, which they have called the Samsung Galaxy Win, and it remains to be seen whether this particular smartphone is capable of living up to its namesake. After all, to “win” in this highly competitive market segment is no mean feat, but Samsung sure as heck has a great track record, especially with their Galaxy S series’ performances to date. Well, the Samsung Galaxy Win was originally announced last week to arrive as a China exclusive, but it seems that the company has made an about turn on that decision, deciding that this mid-range device would be debuting globally, too.

Just a quick refresher for our memories, the Samsung Galaxy Win will be powered by the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, where said device will run on a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, accompanied by a 4.7” TFT display at WVGA resolution with 199ppi pixel density, carry a 5-megapixel camera, has a VGA camera in front, and a microSD memory card slot to boot. You will be able to choose from Ceramic White or Titan Gray when it arrives.
