Over the past couple of weeks we have been covering various rumors about the Galaxy Note 3. The first and second iterations of this device were very well received, so there’s little doubt that a successor isn’t going to be released soon. Previous rumors have pegged the Galaxy Note 3 release for later this year, according to a latest one, a Samsung official has “confirmed” the existence of this device. If this rumor is indeed true, this will be the first time that anyone from Samsung has acknowledged this device.

The rumor comes from ETNews which cites a Samsung official as a source. Apart from confirming that Galaxy Note 3 does exist, the source also apparently revealed some details about the camera as well. The source claims Note 3 will have a 13 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization and 3x optical zoom, though its been said that the company hasn’t made a final decision yet on the camera. It is expected that Samsung will unveil this device at the IFA trade show, where all previous Note devices have been unveiled, that takes place in Berlin this September.
