Samsung Galaxy S4 Expected To Ship 10 Million Units By The End Of May

samsung-galaxy-s4-review-031Just like the iPhone and its different models over the years, Samsung’s Galaxy S-lineup is one that shouldn’t be messed with, with the Galaxy S2, Galaxy S3 and the Galaxy S4 all being extremely popular devices and with future models being highly-anticipated. With that being said, how does the Galaxy S4 hold up in comparison to its predecessor? Despite some gripes about how the phone’s design wasn’t as radical as some had initially thought, it seems that the phone is doing quite well and according to an unnamed Samsung executive, word has it that Samsung has managed to ship 4 million Galaxy S4 units in just four days back in April! According to the executive, he/she believes that at this rate, Samsung is expected to be able to hit the 10 million mark by the end of May.

Of course shipped units does not actually translate into sales, but assuming that it does, the Galaxy S4 looks to beat the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S2 records which is set at roughly 60 days for 10 million units, and 150 days for 10 million units respectively. If this is indeed the case, we can’t wait to see what kind of records the next-gen Samsung Galaxy S device will be able to achieve! What do you guys think? Does this sound about right to you?
