Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 Announced

galaxy-ace-3Earlier we had reported that the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 was spotted in what looked like a leaked press rendering. Well for those intrigued by the handset, you won’t have to wait because Samsung has officially announced the device. The Galaxy Ace 3 is not a monster like its sibling, the Galaxy S4, but given its specs, it appears to be targeted at customers on a budget or emerging markets. So what can we expect in the Galaxy Ace 3? Well for starters you can look forward to a 1GHz dual-core processor for the 3G version, and a 1.2GHz chipset for the 4G LTE version. It will also come with a 4” 480×800 display, a 5MP rear-facing camera, 8GB of onboard storage for the LTE model, and 4GB in the 3GB model, although both models will support microSD cards for memory expansion. It will also come with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean preinstalled. No word on pricing or availability at this point in time. [Press Release]
