iOS 7 Beta Appears To Be More Popular Than iOS 6’s Beta Last Year

ios-7-dimensionsWith iOS 7 featuring brand new features alongside a brand new design, we guess you could say it’s the operating system’s biggest update to date. However in the past there have been some who immensely disliked the design of iOS 7 and this was a big deal because in the past, iOS updates have introduced features while mostly retaining the design of the operating system, so if a user did not like a particular feature, at least the UI would remain more or less the same. However interestingly despite some of the negative feedback iOS 7 has received from initial impressions, data gathered by Onswipe has found the popularity of the iOS 7 is close to double of that of iOS 6 back in 2012.

Onswipe found that right now, the number of devices running iOS 7 beta accounts for about 0.46% of its total traffic, versus iOS 6 last year where Onswipe found only 0.25% of its traffic. Of course it is likely that developers could be the ones showing more interesting in the platform for now, so we guess we will have to wait until Fall to see if iOS 7 will remain as popular, if not more popular, than its predecessor.
