Pantech Vega LTE-A Is An Upcoming Flagship

pantech-vega-lte-aI have always maintained the fact that each smartphone manufacturer would do well to roll out a flagship model in order to maintain one’s pride in the industry. After all, they do it with cars and other kinds of purchases, so why not do the same with smartphones? Smartphones are something that we carry with us wherever we go, so if you have something that is of the high end side of things, then it would definitely be worth taking out from your pocket to make full use of it. LG has their LG G2, and Pantech, one of LG’s domestic rivals in South Korea, too wants to release a flagship device that they call the Pantech Vega LTE-A – where it will sport a power button and touchpad on the back, taking a different design cues from its contemporaries.

The Pantech Vega LTE-A is also known as the model number IM-A880S, where it is tipped to be announced later this coming August 6th – and industry watchers might read into this as a potential pre-emptive strike on Pantech’s part of sorts, since that is a day before LG officially reveals the LG G2. The Pantech Vega LTE-A will be powered by Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean right out of the box, accompanied by 2GB RAM, a 5.7” Full HD display, LTE-Advanced connectivity, and a quad-core Snapdragon 800 2.3GHz processor.
