Samsung Freeform M Headed For MetroPCS

freeform-mMetroPCS is one of the lesser known mobile service providers in the US, and it is definitely not one of the big four (Verizon, Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile in no particular order of importance or rank), but this does not mean that they do not carry smartphones for the masses to use – albeit most of their smartphones on offer tend to be on the entry level or mid-range scheme of things. Today, Samsung has shared details concerning the Samsung SGH-T189N, which is also known as the Freeform M, which will be headed in the direction of MetroPCS.

Just what kind of hardware will the Samsung Freeform M pack? For starters, this will be a QWERTY-equipped feature phone, where you will find an extremely basic – nah, some would even say on the verge of extinction, 2.4” display with 240 x 320 pixels resolution and a 2-megapixel camera that can handle video recording on the side. Other hardware specifications include a microSD memory card slot, alongside the ability to run on T-Mobile’s GSM network. Connectivity options include GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi, with a 1,000mAh Lithium Ion battery keeping it going. There is no word on pricing or availability as at press time though.
