The official specs seem to correlate with what we have heard earlier, which is that the handset will sport physical keys rather than soft keys, which could be handy for those who might be visually impaired or who might not necessarily be used to soft keys on smartphones. The physical keys cover the menu button, home button, back button, and will also come with dedicated keys for voice recorder, camera, volume, and etc.
Other features include Optical Scan that can detect and read words from image; Light Sensing that uses the camera to sense light direction and brightness; and Instant Voice Recorder which makes it quicker and easier to take voice notes rather than fumbling through the app menu. No word on pricing just yet, but if it’s anything like the original Galaxy Core, we expect it will not be priced too unreasonably.
