Samsung Galaxy S5 Will Not Get MWC 2014 Announcement

gs5-mwc-noThe Samsung Galaxy S5 looks set to be a hot potato when it finally hits the market, so you can more or less expect plenty of news surrounding this particular handset. The thing is, while we have heard that it might make its way to London for a product announcement this coming March, it will not be announced at Mobile World Congress 2014 that is happening next month in Barcelona, Spain, at least according to a Samsung executive.

This is certainly a clear contradiction against what another Samsung executive mentioned not too long ago. Needless to say, this particular Samsung executive who said that there will be no Samsung Galaxy S5 at MWC 2014 did so on an anonymous basis, which is understandable. While we are talking about the Samsung Galaxy S5, the unnamed executive did mention about this next generation smartphone being unveiled this March at an event in New York, which might actually be a parallel event to the one in London. What do you think of the Samsung Galaxy S5 so far, and do you reckon that Samsung ought to do something about the rumors of its release date by making an official announcement? That ought to be able to quell any more rumors.
