Samsung Galaxy S5 Could Launch Earlier Than Expected In Some Places

galaxy-s5-preview-mwc2014-30Back in February when Samsung first made an announcement of their upcoming flagship device, the Samsung Galaxy S5, it was supposedly headed in the direction of nearly 150 countries as well as territories this coming April 11th. While retailers in several countries have already confirmed that particular date, it seems that there will be other countries that might just receive the flagship smartphone earlier than expected.

Malaysia, for one, could very well make the Samsung Galaxy S5 available on March 27, which is less than a couple of weeks from now, as well as more than a fortnight before the April 11 date.

It remains to be seen whether other countries and territories will take the same route that Malaysia does, which would mean a March 27 release. In the US, we do know that Verizon, AT&T, MetroPCS, and US Cellular will be making it available this April, including carriers in the UK such as EE, Three and Vodafone. Better late than never, yes, but being earlier than the rest is also a good thing, don’t you think so? It would be interesting to see how just a fortnight’s change in the release schedule could affect the overall sales in the long run, if at all possible.
