During MWC 2014, Samsung took the wraps off their brand new Galaxy S5 flagship handset. According to the reports, the handset will be seeing a release most probably in April and for those of you who might have missed the announcement, fret not because Samsung has since released the introduction video for the handset.
For those who have seen the device and caught our coverage and read our hands-on review, we guess this video doesn’t tell you anything you didn’t already know, but it is still a great video anyway, from a marketing perspective.
The video walks us through the design of the Galaxy S5 and the different angles and color options, along with some of its hardware specs, its camera features.
As a quick recap for those who might have missed our coverage, the Samsung Galaxy S5 will pack a 5.1-inch Full HD 1080p display, a quad-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz, 2GB of RAM, a 2,800mAh battery, a 16MP rear-facing camera, and will run on Android 4.4 KitKat.
Interestingly enough it seems that the announcement defied the rumors of a QHD Galaxy S5, although a recent AnTuTu benchmark sighting has suggested and maintained that a more “premium” Galaxy S5 handset could be in the works for a release later in the year. Make what you will of that rumor, but in the meantime you can check out the Galaxy S5’s video above.
