New Tomb Raider Domain Names Registered, Possible E3 Announcements

tomb-raider-definitive-editionBack in 2013, Square Enix released a reboot of the Tomb Raider series, and now it looks like Square Enix could have a new Tomb Raider game in the works, at least that’s what’s being assumed with a couple of domain names that were reportedly registered by the publisher just last Friday.

These domain names were spotted by Superannuation and they are LaraCroftandtheTempleofOsiris.com and RiseoftheTombRaider.com. It is unclear as to what kind of games we are looking at, but both websites at this time of writing appear to be blank, so there aren’t many clues that might give away what kind of games we are looking at.

Now according to earlier reports, it seems that there could be a sequel to last year’s Tomb Raider and it is possible that one of these titles could be that very game. However some speculate that the Temple of Osiris title seems more like a small downloadable game as opposed to a large standalone one.

In any case with E3 officially kicking off today, perhaps Square Enix might make some Tomb Raider-related announcements then, or at least during the week, so do check back with us later in the week for details, if there are any to be had.
