Samsung Fixes S Finder Universal Search App With Update

sfinder-updateSamsung has begun to introduce a new software update to a couple of mobile devices from their stable, namely the Samsung Galaxy S5 as well as the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. This is not a major update in the first place, but that does not mean it is any less important. According to Samsung, this update is being pushed forward because of its S Finder universal search app that is touted to require “emergency updates for security and fundamental error correction.”

It remains to be seen whether this particular S Finder update will arrive worldwide for Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 3 owners, or will it just hit selected regions. Samsung has remained mum so far on the kind of specific issues that the S Finder is having, although it would make perfect sense that the kind of serious tone that Samsung has put out, users ought to install the update when they have the chance to do so. If you happen to own either the Samsung Galaxy S5 or Galaxy Note 3 and have received the S Finder update already, how has your installation experience been? I suppose that you can now sleep better at night knowing that your device is less susceptible to an external security breach.
