Samsung Galaxy Core Lite Spotted

samsung-galaxy-core-liteWhen it comes to the world of Android-powered smartphones, you can be pretty sure that Samsung is a brand name that has the means to deliver a little bit of something for everyone. In fact, their Galaxy smartphone range has grown by leaps and bounds since its early days, where we are now rocking to various sub-categories of the Galaxy family. It seems that the latest model happens to reside on the entry-level side of things, where it is known as the Samsung Galaxy Core Lite.

Having been revealed officially in Taiwan today at a press event, the Samsung Galaxy Core Lite comes with the model number SM-G3586V, where it will feature LTE connectivity right out of the box to keep up with the times, accompanied by a 4.7” display that has a paltry 480 x 800 pixels resolution, NFC support, a 5MP shooter at the back with LED flash, a quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal memory, and a 2,000 mAh battery. Strangely enough, it will not arrive with Android 4.4 KitKat preloaded, leaving users with Just Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

The asking price? Roughly $270 after conversion as an unlocked device, although it remains to be seen whether the Samsung Galaxy Core Lite will arrive in other markets or not.
