Turtle Beach Delivers New PS4 Headsets At E3 2014

3000x3000-ELITE800-A[E3 2014] When it comes to gaming peripherals of the audio kind, the name Turtle Beach should not be discounted, as they have just announced a slew of new gaming headsets that have been specially designed for the best selling Sony PS4. These new headsets will not be immediately available, but will be out this fall, coming in the following models: Ear Force Elite 800, Ear Force Elite Tournament Audio Controller, Ear Force Stealth 400, and the Ear Force P12.

First of all, the all new Ear Force Elite 800 will play nice with the PS3 and PS4, sporting DTS Headphone:X 7.1 surround sound and active noise cancellation, having a preset system which enables surround sound modes to be finely tuned for different types of games, movies and music. Bluetooth will allow you to hook it up to a mobile device for phone calls and music among others, while dual invisible microphones will deliver high-quality chat audio and a clean, boom-free look. It can even be customized thanks to a wide range of snap-on speaker plates, while a low profile magnetic charging delivers wireless charging capability to the Elite 800. It will retail for $299.95 as it becomes available later this year.

As for the Ear Force Elite Tournament Audio Controller, this device delivers precise, fingertip control over audio, letting you adjust your audio mix in order to match to match changing game conditions. Playing nice with the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, PC and Macs, it comes with Dolby AC3 decoding to DTS Headphone:X 7.1 surround sound, a central master volume control knob, a game/chat mix slider, groundbreaking mic controls, and ergonomically placed buttons for intuitive control over advanced audio features.


The lesser Ear Force Stealth 400 is still a force to be reckoned with, being a fully wireless stereo headset that is compatible with the PS3 and PS4, sporting a new lightweight, sleek design, controls on the ear cup, a built-in ‘charge-and-play’ battery that delivers up to 15 hours of playing time, and a new high-performance WiFi, retailing for $99.95 later this fall.


Last but not least, there is the Ear Force P12 amplified stereo gaming headset that delivers high-quality digital game and chat audio thanks to a solitary USB connection for the PS4. It will feature Adjustable Bass Boost and Microphone Monitor, where generously sized 50mm speakers deliver a full-range of high-quality audio. It will be out this July 10th for $59.95.
