Bugatti Looks To Veyron Successor

bugattiveyronsuccessorWhen you mention the name Bugatti, it will definitely inspire a sense of awe – at least for supercar enthusiasts, as this particular ride happens to remain at the top of the food chain. Of course, one fatal attitude that any company can have would be to rest on their laurels, and it looks as though Bugatti is about to work on a faster hypercar hybrid to succeed from where the Bugatti Veyron is at the moment.

It is said that this upcoming successor will rely on a hybrid powertrain in order to make it zippier compared to all of the other Veyron rides that have rolled off production lines in the past, including the Super Sport. This would definitely usher in the next generation of world speed records, although if you are rich enough to own one of these bad boys, there are very, very few places where you can put the supercar through its paces.

Apparently, industry insiders point to the next-generation hypercar going past the Veyron’s 268-mph (431-km/h) world record, where would could see it achieve speeds of up to 286 mph (460 km/h). In fact, Bugatti’s computer simulations do point to the new car being quicker off the mark, too, hitting 62 mph (100 km/h) from a standstill in a matter of just 2.3 seconds.
