Lenovo Vibe X2 Leaked

lenovo-vibe-x2It does look as though there are more and more leaks coming out these days, regardless of the mobile device at hand. Of course, Apple’s products tend to take up the bulk of the attention, but this does not mean that there is no room on the news wires for other players such as Lenovo to grace the headlines. Apparently, an upcoming smartphone from the computer manufacturer happens to be known as the Lenovo Vibe X2, where it will arrive in the usual flagship form factor – that is, to sport a premium metal chassis, and is also the first smartphone from Lenovo that sports what they call a ‘layered’ design.

The Lenovo Vibe X2 is tipped to be unveiled officially to the masses at the upcoming IFA 2014 conference in Berlin, Germany, which is all set to kick off in a few days’ time. China-based microblog Weibo, however, has different ideas about this smartphone, which is where we managed to get hold of the image that you see above.

The Lenovo Vibe X2’s touted ‘layered’ design will feature a layering of colors, but other than that, it would more or less deliver a pretty standard Android-powered experience, although we might see a relatively affordable price tag that might just make the Lenovo Vibe X2 one interesting proposition when it arrives on your local carrier.

Other hardware specifications include a 5” IPS display at 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory, a 13MP camera at the back, a 5MP front-facing camera, and a 2,250mAh battery.
