Motorola Droid Turbo Could Be The Moto Maxx In Brazil

droid-turbo-moto-maxxMotorola has certainly done its part to work on smartphones that have longer lasting battery life, and more often than not, these tend to come with the suffix “Maxx” in the product name. However, their latest device, the Motorola Droid Turbo, does boast of exceptional battery life and performance, clearly making this a prime candidate for being one of the best smartphones from Motorola. Since the Motorola Droid Turbo happens to be an exclusive device on Verizon Wireless, you will be unable to pick this up from other US carriers. As for the rest of the world, the global variant of this particular smartphone looks set to be known as the Motorola Moto Maxx – at least in Brazil.

A website known as Tecnoblog has received an invitation to a Motorola event which is set to happen later this November 5th. There has been no confirmation on what will be unveiled during the event, but through the invitation itself, one is able to check out the rear end of a Motorola Droid Turbo alongside one of its LED flashes. In other words, the invitation itself will make use of an image that is clearly placed on Motorola’s US website already.

Moto Maxx is a viable option actually, especially when one takes into consideration how Motorola’s application for a trademark on this name was approved earlier this year. A rose by any other name, would smell just as sweet – and in this case, the name might be different, but you will still be able to find a 5.2″ display alongside 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, a 2.7GHz Snapdragon 805 processor, a 20.7MP camera at the back, 3GB RAM, 32GB or 6GB of internal memory, and a 3,900 mAh battery.
