Nexus 9 Pre-Orders Available On Amazon

nexus2cee_po_thumb1Just yesterday Google announced their latest Nexus tablet in the form of the Nexus 9 made by HTC. Well the good news is that if you had your eye on the device which does pack some pretty impressive hardware specs, you might be interested to learn that Amazon has started to accept pre-orders for it.

Currently both the US and German Amazon stores are accepting pre-orders on the tablet. The US model is priced at $400 for the 16GB model and $480 for the 32GB model. Amazon has also listed the release date of the tablet as the 3rd of November which seems to be in line with what we had heard previously.

For those who might have missed out on the announcement yesterday, here’s a quick recap on some of the tablet’s specs. For starters the tablet will sport an 8.9-inch 2,048×1,536 display with a 4:3 screen aspect ratio. Under the hood the tablet will see an NVIDIA Tegra K1 chipset and will be accompanied by 2GB of RAM.

Google is also promising that the Nexus 9 will be able to last a good 9 hours with a full charge which is actually pretty decent. There will also be an accompanying keyboard accessory that combines a keyboard case and an iPad Smart Cover into one. Pre-orders were meant to go live tomorrow, but we guess Amazon got ahead of themselves.
