HP Pavilion 27c + EliteDisplay S270c: The Curved Monitor Race

hp-27c-s270c-elitedisplayWe have already seen a couple of companies come out with their curved monitors for PCs at the International Consumer Electronics Show 2015, and we’re not missing out on what HP has to offer, because the company too is joining the curved monitor race. It has unveiled two new models, Pavilion 27c and EliteDisplay S270c, that promise an elegant and immersive curved visual and audio experience with greater peripheral readability.

Both the HP Pavilion 27c and EliteDisplay S270c measure 27-inches with 1,920×1,080 pixel resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio and 95 percent sRGB color gamut. Both have integrated speakers with 4 watt/channel speakers and DTS audio.

The displays offer 3000:1 CR with low-haze enhancement technology that reduces reflectiveness without dimming clarity, all within 178-degree viewing angles.

MHL support means that users will be able to mirror their smartphone or tablet content on these monitors, the connection will also keep on charging their mobile devices, so they really do get the best of both worlds. They can use MHL for a variety of purposes, including but not limited to presenting at work, or just watching media content on the big screen.

HP Pavilion 27c and EliteDisplay S270c curved displays are available for purchase right now, both monitors cost $399.
