Purple Xperia Z3 Rumored To Roll Out

The Sony Xperia Z3 was launched in a slew of colors – at least far more than the usual standard shades of black and white where other smartphone manufacturers are concerned, where copper and green also happened to be the other two color options. Well, those who have a soft spot for purple would certainly have been disappointed – but thankfully, that is no longer the case. A leak from Chinese website ePrice does point to the very real possibility of a purple variant of the Xperia Z3.

Of course, until there is an official announcement of sorts, nothing can be deemed to be 100% real at the moment. Some have claimed that Sony is working to prepare the purple Xperia Z3 to arrive in time for the upcoming Lunar New Year, and if that were to pan out to be true, then we would most probably see this latest color variant hit select markets – Asia especially, around February 19 thereabouts.

It will not arrive fully clad in purple, however, since the device ought to feature a black front and a purple back. Other than the cosmetic change on the outside, everything else concerning the alleged purple Xperia Z3 should remain the same underneath the hood.
