Xperia-Z3-PlusEarlier this year Sony announced the Xperia Z3+ which is basically the international variant of the Xperia Z4. The handset is no slouch and according to DxOMark’s ranking at that time, the phone’s camera was considered the best amongst the smartphones, although that has since been displaced with the Xperia Z5.

That being said with the Xperia Z5 series of smartphones launched, is there any real reason to consider the Xperia Z3+? We suppose price might be a reason, and if you’re looking for a phone that doesn’t cost too much, you might be interested to learn that the Sony Xperia Z3+ has officially made its way stateside.

For those unfamiliar with the phone, the phone has actually been available in the US for a while now. However it was never available in the official capacity, meaning that manufacturer’s warranty in the US was not available, but now with the launch you can go ahead and get it and if any issues arise, you can go ahead and take it back to Sony.

The Sony Xperia Z3+ shares the same specs as the Xperia Z4. This means we can expect a 5.2-inch Full HD display and under the hood, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset can be found with 3GB of RAM, a 2,930mAh battery, and a 20.7MP rear-facing camera. It is available for purchase via B&H where it is priced at $499.99 fully unlocked.
