Samsung Galaxy J1 Gets Official With Quad-Core CPU

samsung-galaxy-j1-6The Samsung Galaxy J1 was announced not too long ago – we are talking about approximately a couple of weeks back, and for those of you who happen to live in the world’s second most populous country, India, you will be pleased to hear that Samsung India has just announced the presence of an upgraded version of the smartphone, which will carry a beefier CPU alongside the inclusion of 4G LTE connectivity.

It was not too long ago, too, that our attention was brought forward to the possibility of additional Galaxy J1 versions making their way to the market, with a quad-core enabled smartphone being one of them, too. Well, the Samsung Galaxy J1 4G happens to be just that handset, where it will feature a 4.3” WVGA display, with a quad-core 1.2GHz CPU running proceedings from within, accompanied by 768MB RAM as well as 4GB of internal memory.

As for the rest of the hardware specifications of the Samsung Galaxy J1 4G, they would include a 5MP camera at the back, 4G LTE support, dual-SIM capability, a 1,850 mAh battery as well as Android 4.4 KitKat as the mobile operating system of choice. Expect the Samsung Galaxy J1 4G to arrive later next month in blue, white and black shades.
