Second-Gen Moto E With 4G LTE Spotted On Best Buy’s Website

moto e 2Word on the street has it that Motorola could be working on a successor to the Moto E which was released last year. In fact it wasn’t too long ago that alleged leaked renders of the handset made their way online. If you were wondering how legit those renders are, it seems they could be the real deal.

According to a recent sighting on Best Buy’s website, it seems that the retailer has started to list the handset on its website where they have priced it at $100, although at the moment it seems that you are unable to purchase it as there is no option to have the phone shipped, and Best Buy’s stores don’t seem to have it in stock (you could try your luck with your ZIP code).

Best Buy’s website has also listed some of the specs of the phone. This includes a 4.5-inch 540×960 display with a 1.2GHz processor (presumably the Qualcomm Snapdragon 200), 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage, and will support 4G LTE networks which means that if you wanted a 4G LTE enabled smartphone on the cheap, this could do the trick.

It is unclear as to when Motorola/Sprint will officially announce the handset, but presumably its listing on Best Buy’s website could be a sign that it is coming soon, but either way we will keep our eyes peeled for more information.
