Cricket Will Sell The New Moto E For $129.99 Later This Week

Last month Motorola unveiled the second-generation Moto E smartphone. The company built up on everything that the first-generation of this affordable Android smartphone achieved and added a much requested feature like 4G LTE. This is a great device for anyone looking to jump on the Android bandwagon without having to spend a lot of money. Motorola sells it for $149.99 but Cricket Wireless really wants you to purchase this device from it, which is why it will begin selling the new Moto E for $129.99 in just a few days’ time.

Starting March 13th, the new Moto E with 4G LTE will be available from Cricket Wireless stores and online for $129.99. It will become the first device on Cricket to come with Android 5.0 Lollipop straight out of the box.

The new Moto E is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 410 processor. It has a 4.5-inch 540×960 pixel resolution display, 8GB of onboard storage, microSD card support, VGA front and 5 megapixel rear camera and support for 4G LTE.

Cricket’s unlimited calling and texting plans start at $35 per month and since it’s a prepaid carrier customers don’t have to worry about being stuck to a carrier for two years. It runs on AT&T’s network.

For a limited time customers who switch to Cricket from Metro-PCS, Sprint, Boost and T-Mobile and opt for the $50 or $60 rate plan will be eligible for one free month of service on Cricket after completing two months on Smart, Pro or the Advanced Plan.
