moto-e-2nd-gen-5The Moto E (2015) from Motorola was announced earlier this year, where it boasts of LTE connectivity as well as a larger display for your visual enjoyment – two things that were missing in the preceding generation. Having said that, if you happen to own this year’s edition of the Moto E and are a Verizon subscriber, then you would be pleased as punch to know that a software update which carries the version number 23.11.17 has already made its way, and assuming you have yet to receive it, perhaps it would be prudent to play the patience card.

Do expect this software fix to come with its fair share of improvements as well as fixes, not to mention Android 5.1 Lollipop in tow that will see the inclusion of user interface tweaks, notification volume controls, as well as other minor changes.

It is nice to see Verizon subscribers of the Motorola Moto E (2015) pick up the Android 5.1 Lollipop update, taking into consideration how it was made available to LTE edition Moto E and the second-gen Moto X owners who are rocking to US Cellular. So far, it does seem as though this update does not have any kind of issues, and you can always check out all the related nitty gritty to the update here.
