Rockstar Deals With GTA Cheaters In A Hilarious Way

Nobody likes cheaters in video games because they ruin the experience for everyone. We can only imagine how frustrating it is to work so hard to achieve something only to have someone else who cheated using an exploit or a hack to get something similar in seconds. As it turns out Rockstar isn’t a fan of cheaters either and have come up with a clever way of dealing with them.

A little backstory for those who are unfamiliar: it was recently discovered that there is an exploit within Rockstar’s GTA that allowed players to port in a special single-player-only car into GTA Online. Since this car was only available in the single-player mode, safe to say that essentially this is a cheat. However Rockstar has patched the cheat in a rather hilarious way.

Instead of simply removing the car or removing the ability to bring in the car, Rockstar has decided to rig the car with explosives. What happens is that if the car is brought into the game and when players try to get into it, the car will explode which you can see for yourself in the video above. There is also no way of surviving the explosion so that’s worth taking note of.

Of course some have questioned this as what’s to stop exploiters from bringing in the car and leaving them all over the place for unsuspecting gamers to stumbleupon? We suppose that’s just too bad.
