Rockstar’s GTA 5 Is Close To Selling 100 Million Copies

Rockstar’s long-awaited sequel to Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 4 was finally released back in 2013, about 5 years after its predecessor. It turned out to be a massive hit for Rockstar and Take-Two where the game reportedly went on to earn a whopping $1 billion in the first three days that it was made available.

GTA 5: Premium Online Edition Announced

We know that many gamers are probably eagerly anticipating the release of Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto 6, assuming that it is in the works. However it seems that in the meantime, Rockstar has decided to launch GTA 5: Premium Online Edition which is aimed at gamers who might have not played it before.

GTA 5 Has Sold More Than 90 Million Copies

Grand Theft Auto 5 has cemented its position as Take-Two’s biggest hit as the title has sold more than 90 million copies globally. It’s yet another milestone for the popular game which was released back in 2013. The figure includes both digital sales and in-store sales of Grand Theft Auto 5. The game’s publisher Take-Two Interactive says that the game has had “unparalleled longevity.”

GTA 5 OpenIV Mod Ban Crashes Game’s Review Score On Steam

Take-Two has rapidly been closing down GTA Online mods and the community isn’t liking it one bit. Rockstar’s parent company recently decided to ban the GTA 5 OpenIV mod and the community is now putting up a united front in its demand for the mod to be brought back. The community has crashed GTA 5’s review score on Stream by leaving tons of negative reviews in protest.

YouTube Restores GTA 5 Video With Galaxy Note 7 Bomb Mod

Yesterday it was reported that Samsung had filed a DMCA takedown request on a YouTube video which showed off a GTA 5 mod that used a Note 7-lookalike in the game as a bomb.
