Galaxy Note 2 Android 5.0 Update Promised By Samsung Spain

Even though it has been a couple of months since people have been asking whether Samsung has any plans of releasing the Lollipop update for the Galaxy Note 2 there still isn’t any clarity on the matter, the irony is that Samsung’s various arms are the ones that are causing the confusion. The most recent update from Samsung Spain comes in the form of a promise that the company will indeed release the Galaxy Note 2 Android 5.0 update.

The update comes after a Facebook post earlier today from Samsung Gulf which plainly stated that the nearly three year old handset is not going to receive the Lollipop update.

So you see why there’s cause for confusion, it’s unclear why Samsung has not come out with a strongly worded statement yet that puts end to this back and forth once and for all.

Galaxy Note 2 owners are no doubt anxiously waiting to receive the Lollipop update that almost everybody with a compatible device is raging on about.

As far as the specifications of the device are concerned it does have a quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM and it’s certainly not like the Galaxy Note 2 won’t be able to handle the Lollipop update.

It remains to be seen though if Samsung ultimately releases the Galaxy Note 2 Android 5.0 update, the company has as yet not provided a concrete release date, or an outright denial for that matter.
