Woman Sent To The Slammer For Google Executive’s Overdose Death

alixHalf a dozen years in the slammer – that would be the number of years that Alix Tichelman has to spend in prison after she pled guilty to offering a Google executive a dose of heroin in California, where this particular dose roved to be fatal at the end of it. Alix Tichelman pled guilty to involuntary manslaughter and drugs charges, which ended up with Forrest Timothy Hayes losing his life in 2013.

Apart from that, it was said that Tichelman failed to seek out help for Hayes as he passed out after she injected him with heroin as they were spending time together onboard his yacht. According to the police, she was a prostitute, and the pair did meet up in the past on several occasions. This particular plea was as such, since it involved a deal that would include a reduced manslaughter charge.

According to Tichelman’s lawyer, Larry Biggam, he did expect Alix to serve halve the amount of jail time, since she will also be on the receiving end of credit for the time that she has already served to date, which is close to a year. In fact, Tichelman agreed to the plea deal due to the evidence surrounding the case. What do you think of the sentence?
