Amazon’s Fire tablet now has another edition and it’s made for kids. The latest offering by Amazon will be available in the U.K. and has been crafted keeping in mind the needs of kids and parental controls.

The device features a 6-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 and is powered by an undisclosed quad-core processor ( 1.5GHz + 1.2GHz) paired with 1GB of RAM. There are two storage variants of the device, 8GB and 16GB, the device sports a 2-megapixel rear camera along with a VGA front camera. In terms of connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 LE.

The tablet is up for pre-order as of now, and will go on sale on June 18. The 8GB variant will cost £119 and the 16GB variant will retail at £139. The device has been listed for $149 for the 8GB version in the United States.
