Huawei Honor 7 Confirmed To Feature Fingerprint Scanner

honor7-tenaaIt was not too long ago that alleged images of the Huawei Honor 7 started to show up, where the handset did show off a rear mounted fingerprint scanner. Well, it looks like those photos were a “prophecy” of sorts, as there is now confirmation that there is a fingerprint scanner that will keep company the Huawei Honor 7, at least according to images gleaned from the handset’s recent certification by TENAA.

Just in case you were wondering, TENAA happens to be the Chinese agency that is somewhat equivalent to the FCC over here Stateside, where all consumer electronics devices would need to go through TENAA before it hits the market. Apart from the fingerprint scanner would be confirmation of a metal build for the Huawei Honor 7, which should make it look a wee bit nicer and up to par with many of the premium handsets out there in the market.

We also found out that the upcoming Huawei Honor 7 will feature support for TD-LTE, FDD-LTE, TD-SCDMA, WCDMA, CDMA2000, CDMA 1X and GSM connectivity, now how about that? Of course, there is the rumored 4GB RAM that is set to come along with the handset, too. I guess we will be able to find out more when June 8th rolls around, where the Huawei Honor 7 could very well be introduced then.
