Internet radio is an integral component of the Apple Music experience and the company is working hard to ensure that its internet radio offering is better than anything else that’s available in the market today. That’s why it has picked up some of the biggest names from the radio industry and paired them up with A-list artists to offer an experience unlike any other. Dr. Dre is going to be a part of that experience as well as he now gets his own show on Beats 1.

Beats 1 is the first global online radio station from Apple that broadcasts 24/7 and also features shows, interviews and much more. Apple is also expected to bring in the likes of Elton John, Pharrell Williams and Drake to guest DJ.

Rap mogul Dr. Dre will be a much more permanent fixture on Beats 1 as he will host a bi-weekly radio show called The Pharmacy, the show is going to particularly focus on music coming out of the West Coast.

Dre has already released his popular album “The Chronic” on Apple Music, it’s the first music streaming service that plays host to his seminal album.

The Pharmacy will be an hour long show on Beats 1 which will air every Saturday at 6 pm Eastern.
