Moto Hint Might Have Been Quietly Refreshed With Better Battery Life

moto-hint-2-e1437408160536-640x415Last year Motorola took the wraps off the Moto Hint. The Moto Hint is a Bluetooth earpiece but what makes it so appealing compared to other Bluetooth earpieces is the fact that it is small and relatively inconspicuous. Now we weren’t sure if Motorola had plans to refresh the device, but as it turns out they might have done that.

According to a recent posting by a Best Buy employee, they noticed a new SKU of the Moto Hint in their inventory. On the surface it does not seem like there are any major changes made to the earpiece, but it seems to have been designed to fit the wearer’s ear a bit better. Motorola has also apparently improved the battery life.

Assuming the details are the real deal, Motorola has bumped the battery life of the Moto Hint from 10 hours to 17 hours, or according to the packaging, by 70%. Of course this will vary depending on how you use it and how often you use it, but either way a  70% boost in battery is no doubt welcome.

There has been no official announcement yet regarding the new Moto Hint, but perhaps Motorola didn’t think it warranted an announcement, or maybe there’s one coming on the 28th of July.
