Huawei Mate 7S Benchmarked (Rumor)

huawei-mate-7sWith the 2nd of September being right around the corner, where that date has been slated for the unveiling of the upcoming phablet from Huawei, we can only continue to sit tight and guess as to what this particular device will be known as. For sure, there will be an “S” in its name, as how Huawei has teased us so far, although it remains to be seen whether it will be known as the Mate 7S, or perhaps something that is more simple – the Huawei Mate S.

Still, it looks as though the upcoming device has been put through the relevant tests under the guise of an AnTuTu benchmark, along with a rather complete list of hardware specifications that one is able to derive from the benchmark’s information screen that is shown on the right.

Seems that the next generation Huawei Mate device will sport a 5.7” Full HD display, a 20MP camera that is located at the back, an 8MP shooter in front, 3GB RAM, and 32GB of internal memory. Underneath the hood would be Huawei’s very own HiSilicon Kirin 935 chipset that will boast of an octa-core CPU that has been clocked at up to 2.1GHz alongside the Mali-T628MP4 GPU, and during the tests, the handset ran on Android 5.0 Lollipop as the operating system of choice.

It managed an overall score of 46,776 on the AnTuTu benchmark which wasn’t too shabby at all, but neither is it something to drool over.
