Galaxy S7 With 3GB RAM Spotted

There is still a long way to go before Samsung is due to unveil its next generation Galaxy S series smartphone but already we’re hearing rumors and leaks about this handset. Over the past week or so multiple reports have come online with details about the Galaxy S7, the handset has already been spotted on Geekbench where it showed off its new Exynos processor and 4GB RAM. Now another Galaxy S7 model has been spotted on the benchmark but this time around it has 3GB RAM.

While there have been rumors that perhaps Samsung will launch two different variants of Galaxy S7, with two different screen sizes, given that it’s still early days my money would be on the possibility that Samsung is merely testing multiple prototypes of its next generation handset.

The existing flagships have 3GB RAM and with Samsung’s tendency to lead the Android flagship pack with its handsets, it seems quite unlikely that the company won’t go with 4GB RAM for Galaxy S7.

Other specifications rumored for this device include a Snapdragon 820 processor, a new 20 megapixel rear camera and perhaps even a microSD card slot for expanding internal storage. Samsung might only release the Snapdragon-powered variant in the United States since it’s also working on a new Exynos processor which could also be used for the Galaxy S7.
