Developed by JeanCarl Bisson and Adarsh Uppula, this service actually combines Microsoft Outlook and IBM’s Watson, with the latter being used to analyze the sentiments of your Outlook emails to determine which is positive and which aren’t, and will then create a reading list for you via text-to-speech.
So instead of opening your email and finding the first message at the top being from your boss to reprimand you for some of the work you did last week, it might instead display you emails from customers thanking you for a good job, or maybe some emails from colleagues that are more lighthearted.
It’s a great idea and according to its creators, can also be used with any email provider. However they are also a little wary about commercializing it as they are unclear as to how many people would actually want to pay for such a service, but what say you? Reading positive emails to start the day, is that something you might be interested in?
