French car maker Bugatti has seen a considerable amount of success with the Veyron which has not only held the title of being the fastest production car in the world but also ranks among some of the most expensive cars that money can buy. Naturally many have been wondering how Bugatti will follow up on all of that success and the answer lies with the Bugatti Chiron. The company has now confirmed that it’s going to officially unveil the Chiron at the Geneva Motor Show 2016.

Bugatti has kept a pretty tight lid on any and all information related to its new car, it hasn’t shown off the design to the public nor mentioned precisely what it’s capable of doing. It’s believed though that the Chiron will take over the title of being the fastest production car in the world from its predecessor, the Veyron.

The company did show off its Vision GT concept car earlier this year which did give us an idea of what it’s next car is going to look like, regardless, fans will be more interested in seeing what the actual car looks like, and their wish will be fulfilled at the Geneva Motor Show next year. Bugatti has released its official Christmas card which features a covered Chiron with the confirmation that it will be unveiled at Geneva Motor Show in 2016.

An interesting detail about the Chiron is that it’s named after Louis Alexandre Chiron who was a great help to Bugatti in the creation of its luxury lineup, it’s believed that Louis’ signature will be etched into the new car’s headrests.

The company is rumored to produce only 500 units of the Chiron initially so not only is this car going to be very expensive, it’s going to be a lot harder to come by even if you’ve got the money to buy it.
