TouchWiz, the custom skin that Samsung slaps on top of its Android smartphones, has come a long way over the past few years. It’s not as bloated as it used to be and it doesn’t weigh down the device as much, yet there’s still room for improvement. A new rumor suggests that Samsung is going to significantly improve the TouchWiz experience in its upcoming flagship, claiming that TouchWiz on the Galaxy S7 is going to have more fluency than iOS.

Galaxy S7 is Samsung’s next flagship smartphone that due in the coming year, it’s expected that the company will unveil the handset at Mobile World Congress 2016 prior to its public release a few weeks later.

As you can imagine it’s going to have top-notch specifications and most likely the software to match. It will be powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow with a new version of TouchWiz on top that’s rumored to have “greater fluency than iOS.”

It’s claimed that this is an ultimate goal for both Samsung and Google to have a “non-delayed operating experience” that promises greater fluency than iOS, which many consider to be the most fluent and intuitive mobile operating system on the market today.

Samsung has already shown that it can significantly optimize TouchWiz to provide a better user experience, it did that with the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+, so clearly there’s nothing stopping it for taking TouchWiz one step further with the Galaxy S7.
