OnePlus X Gets OxygenOS 2.2.0

If you happen to own the OnePlus X smartphone and have been waiting for a software update for the longest time, fret not – we are quite sure that you are not the only one “experiencing” such a long wait, but as the saying goes – better late than never! The OnePlus team has finally made available OxygenOS 2.2.0 for the OnePlus X handset, making it more than a month to arrive on the device after the update had already made its way over to the OnePlus 2 smartphone.

Of course, these two models are not identical in many ways, as they are rather distinct and with that in mind, they will also feature a very different set of problems that need to be addressed. It is still encouraging to know that the OEM happens to continue to support its products in an active manner, and the changelog for the OxygenOS 2.2.0 OTA (Over The Air) update will include the likes of a manual mode for the Camera App, the ability to save to SD card option in Camera App, USSD bug fix for India, the inclusion of dual SIM preferences back in System settings, the OTA App upgrade, various security patches and general bug fixes and optimizations.
