17.2 Million Galaxy S7 And Galaxy S7 edge To Be Manufactured By April 2016

galaxy-s7-design_01The recently announced flagship smartphones from Samsung, known as the Samsung Galaxy S7 as well as the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge are set to go on sale this coming March, and you can be sure that there is plenty of interest surrounding both devices by the curious and loyal fans alike. This means that demand could be great, which is why Samsung is hoping to ramp up their manufacturing lines by rolling out 17.2 million units by the time April 2016 arrives.

The 17.2 million figure will more or less break the record that is currently held by the number of Galaxy S6 units sold in the initial three months after it was announced, which was 15.8 million Galaxy S6 devices moved, while the Galaxy S4 is the second most successful device having shifted 15.2 million units in the same window of time back when it was released

As for the ratio of devices to be churned out, Samsung has decided to change it in order to learn a lesson from its S6 edge’s lack of supply. Shifting from a 4:1 ratio to that of a 6:4 ratio, Samsung hopes to be able to match a potentially chart busting demand for the Galaxy S7 edge. Do you think that it is just a matter of how well the devices will do?
