Free Rosewood Case For New OnePlus X Purchases

Thinking of getting yourself a new phone in the coming weeks? If you are, the OnePlus X could be worth your consideration, especially since OnePlus has recently announced a new promotion. Basically if you were to buy a new OnePlus X, you will be entitled to a free rosewood case for your phone.

It is a pretty straightforward promotion and as OnePlus points out, it seems to be in conjunction with Valentine’s Day and will also be while stocks last. That being said, it seems that some users on Twitter are having problems with the deal. Some tried entering the “XOXO” code but were still being charged for the case.

Some claim that the code only discounts the shipping price, and others are a bit miffed that the fine print wasn’t obvious as they thought that it was free cases for everyone and anyone. Hopefully the code thing was merely a glitch and that OnePlus will have gotten a handle on it. Also this promo serves to highlight how the OnePlus X no longer requires an invite to purchase it.

The removal of the invite system was done last week, which hopefully will be applied to future OnePlus handsets as the company gets a handle on their logistics and supply chain for newer devices.
