Panasonic Unveils Induction Oven The Size Of A Microwave Oven

panasonic inductionInduction ovens can get pretty big, which means that if you’re looking to use one in your home, you best make sure your kitchen is big enough to fit one. However if your kitchen is small but you still want an induction oven, you will be pleased to learn that Panasonic has recently taken the wraps off their latest induction oven.

As you can see in the photo above, the induction oven is small and if you did not know any better, you could have easily mistaken it for a toaster oven or even a microwave oven. However as it stands, Panasonic’s creation remains a prototype and was shown off at the International Home and Housewares Show.

The good news is that Panasonic does have plans to bring it to the market later this year. Exact pricing has yet to be finalized, but the company has estimated that it will probably cost around the $600 range, according to a report from CNET. As pointed out, induction cookers have been typically reserved for ranges and cooktops, but with this induction oven, those who prefer the induction method of cooking might appreciate Panasonic’s creation.

The upside is that induction cooking takes a lot less time to heat up compared to other stovetops like hotplates. They’re also considerably compared to using an open fire which will need you to have a gas line in the home.
