The older Samsung Galaxy XCover 3 boasted of an outer body that does bring back memories of the far more pricey Galaxy S6 Active. Now, and now the South Korean conglomerate has decided to go ahead to update the device, by calling it the XCover 3 Value Edition, where it will carry all of the similar hardware, although there will be Android 6.0 Marshmallow running right out of the box.
This 4G-ready handset will be MIL-STD 810G-certified, ensuring that both dust and water remain at bay thanks to its IP67-certification. Other hardware specifications include a 4.5” display at 480 x 800 resolution, a 5MP camera at the back, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory and a 2200 mAh battery. Expect the Samsung XCover 3 Value Edition to retail for €220 when it arrives.
