Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Confirmed, Trailer Released

If you enjoyed the best-selling Dragon Ball Xenoverse game then you’re going to be really happy that Bandai Namco has announced a sequel to this popular title. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has been confirmed today and an official trailer has been released as well. Bandai Namco says that this title is the “largest and most detailed” Dragon Ball world that has ever been developed.

Eric Hartness, vice president of marketing at Bandai Namco Entertainment America, said that the Dragon Ball franchise is a “crown jewel” and a fan-favorite of Bandai Namco’s anime game portfolio and that this new title is going to build on that legacy.

He also added that with Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Bandai Namco is working closely with the Dimps team “to pull out all the stops and push the Dragon Ball video game experience to new heights.”

There is going to be a new hub city in the sequel and it’s going to provide players with the most character customization choices to date. Several new features and special upgrades have also been promised.

That’s pretty much all that has been revealed about this title today but we can expect to hear more about the game at the upcoming E3 gaming convention. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be released later this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
