E3 Will Be Open To The Public This Year, Sort Of

e3-2015

If you closely follow news related to gaming you will be aware that every year the biggest developers and publishers gather at the E3 convention to show off their new creations. E3 is largely limited to people from the gaming or media industry as the general public is not allowed in, but things are changing this year. E3 is going to hold a separate public event where attendees will be able to check out the latest games ahead of everybody else and meet developers in person.

The Entertainment Software Association announced today that it’s going to conduct E3 Live from June 14th through June 16th. This free public event is going to give the general public a glimpse of what goes on at E3 conventions. Attendees will be able to test the new games and try new experiences before anybody else.

Companies like HTC and Oculus will be present at E3 Live to show off their virtual reality technology. Participants also include Ubisoft and Warner Bros, but don’t expect to find Sony or Microsoft there, if you want to check out what they have to offer you will need a pass to E3 proper and those are not exactly easy to come by.

Tickets to this free event will be limited and a sold-out crowd is expected. Go to the E3 Live website to get tickets and receive more information on E3 Live.
