The Gran Turismo Sport release date has been confirmed today at an exclusive unveiling event with Kazunori Yamauchi. This title is exclusive to the PlayStation 4 and is the first new-gen addition to the Gran Turismo franchise. The game will offer players four sets of cars that include 137 models combined ranging from super-premium real-world and fantasy cars. 19 tracks are included in the new game, dirt tracks are back, and there are 27 possible layouts for players to tackle.

Gran Turismo Sport puts players into the driving seat of some of the nicest cars on the planet. Sony says that the cars have been recreated with “unprecedented precision” by the team at Polyphony Digital. It promises they will deliver the most detailed and authentic model in the history of this franchise.

PlayStation 4 owners can pre-order Gran Turismo Sport starting today from both the PlayStation Store and retailers across Europe. Three separate editions are being offered each with a copy of the game and some additional goodies, which obviously come at a greater price.

Gran Turismo Sport is the first title in this franchise that has support for PlayStation VR. It’s not the full numbered next Gran Turismo title, though, that’s Gran Turismo 7 which has been in development since 2014. Gran Turismo Sport will be released on November 16th, 2016.
